Katy Perry: "People Think We're Perfect But We're Not At All"

Katy Perry and Russell Brand finalized their divorce in February and according to Perry, it will all be documented in her upcoming movie "Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D".

Katy, 27, made an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday to discuss with the talk show host about what it was like to shoot the movie through her marriage and divorce.

"I thought it was important for me. First of all, I thought it was important to show everything in between.  I think sometimes people think that we’re perfect and we know we’re not perfect, at all," Katy quoted as saying.

"I think it’s important start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that’s why I decided to put everything into the film… In the most tasteful way."

It has to be mentioned that the former couple were married in India in the summer of 2010, but by the holiday season of 2011 they were separated.

"Mostly it’s about how I go there and the ride along the way which can be bumpy but mostly it was extremely fun," Katy concluded.

Katy Perry Splits From Robert Ackroyd !

Katy Perry is single again!

Katy has split from Florence + the Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd. The couple started dating about a month ago when they were photographed kissing at "Coachella Music Festival".

"It wasn't that serious," according to a source. "It's not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they'll talk soon."

"No hard feelings," another source reveals. "She's really busy and so is he."

Jennifer Lopez #1 On The "2012 Forbes' Celebrity 100 List" !

"The Forbes Celebrity 100 list" was released on Wednesday and Jennifer Lopez shot up 50 spots from last year to beat out Oprah Winfrey for the #1 spot on the list.

Jennifer Lopez topped the list by "smart positioning and a whole lot of hustle," states the magazine.

Jennifer is joined in the top five by Winfrey, Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Lady Gaga with Katy Perry, Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg rounding out the top 10.

The list also put reality star Kim Kardashian at #7 and her new boyfriend Kanye West all the way down at #45 !

Angelina Jolie is #13 while her soon-to-be husband Brad Pitt is all the way down at #28, and Jennifer Aniston is at #22.

New X Factor judge Britney Spears is all the way up at #6 and at the bottom of the very distinguished list were "Golden Globe" winner Melissa McCarthy at #99 and "Victoria’s Secret" model Adriana Lima at 100.

Katy Perry Debuts New Song "Wide Awake" At The "2012 Billboard Music Awards" !

Katy Perry will debut a brand new song called "Wide Awake" at the "2012 Billboard Music Awards", which will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 on ABC.

The song was written for her upcoming film "Katy Perry: Part of Me" and will be heard for the first time, live on the show. Perry debuted the song "Part of Me" at the 2012 Grammy Awards. At the time, everyone assumed the song was about ex-husband Russell Brand, though Perry later denied it.

Katy Perry: NARM Music Awards Artist Of The Year !

Katy Perry has won an award at the "NARM Music Biz Awards" dinner party held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Thursday (May 10) in Century City, California.

Katy picked up the "Artist of the Year" award at the ceremony!

"Katy's music was absolutely everywhere over the past year, and her dominance of the singles charts is a nearly unprecedented accomplishment," NARM President Jim Donio quoted as saying.

"She has unquestionably blossomed into a true global superstar and has earned this Award in every sense of the word." Donio added.

What an achievement for Katy!

Russell Brand Regrets Divorcing Katy Perry

According to the latest gossip, Russell Brand is regretting his decision to divorce Katy Perry and wants her back! It all started when reports started rolling in that she was dating Robert Ackroyd last month. Katy went to Coachella with him and apparently that has gotten Russell jealous.

After hearing all about her new relationship, Russell was said to have sent Katy an email admitting that he gave up on their marriage too quickly. 

According to a source "He apparently feels he gave up on their relationship too easily. It’s fair to say that Russell only wishes Katy happiness but perhaps he should have realized just how special his wife was when he was married to her rather than five months later."

Reportedly, their marriage fell apart as a result of her touring. They weren’t spending as much time together as a newly married couple should have been.

Katy Perry Sold Her House !

Katy Perry has sold her New York penthouse.

Perry is believed to have made close to the $2.75 million asking price on the sale of the duplex apartment, which she bought for the same amount in September 2010, a month before she married comedian Russell Brand.

Just to mention that the 1,500 square foot property is situated in TriBeCa and boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cherry wood staircase, steel kitchen and a south-facing terrace boasting impressive views of the city according to the New York Post newspaper.

Following their divorce in December, Katy and Russell agreed Katy would keep their Beverly Hills mansion and Russell was seen moving out of the $6 million property in January.

However, Katy , who is now believed to be dating Florence + the Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd , is also believed to have left the property soon afterwards and reportedly moved just three miles away from the mansion in Los Feliz, California.

Katy Perry is said to have purchased a $1.9 million pad , which comes complete with five bedrooms and five bathrooms , as a temporary base until she finds somewhere more permanent to live.
